Applied Behaviour Analysis is the science of behaviour! It is an effective way to help teach skills or work toward goals that can help improve quality of life. Skills are broken down into small, teachable units. Help, or prompting is provided as needed and then faded out to encourage independence. We focus on the prevention of challenging behaviour by changing the environment! A focus on teaching skills through strategies such as Natural Environment Teaching, Functional Communication Training and positive reinforcement is used. Our sessions are fun and play based! We will never use punishment to change a behaviour.
